Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Diego is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Nice servers and great iced latte. Pastry was at least a day old, stale. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. No bathroom in store, maybe elsewhere in the strip mall.

Great local coffee shop close to the beach, good tasting cold brew and matcha at a good price point steps away from the ocean! Will be back

Randomly came across this super cool coffee shop! Gloria was the sweetest barista! Her bubbly personality made our stop even more so pleasant and enjoyed our coffee and pastries after her great suggestions π«Άπ½βοΈ

Stopped by for coffee, espresso, and some vegan pastries for breakfast. Staff very friendly and they were quick to put together our order. Double espresso was pulled well. Also got two lattes (one hot and one cold) that I was told were okay. We got a croissant (non -vegan) and a vegan pumpkin muffin, both of which tasted good. Iβm not sure if theyβre made on premises or brought in from somewhereβif I had to guess, itβs the latter based on the quality of the croissant (high number of folds).
